Treatment Services

Therapy is the process of working with a qualified clinician (such as a psychologist/psychological associate, psychotherapist, or social worker) to process feelings, challenge thoughts that no longer serve a purpose, and meet your self-identified goals. It is important to note that therapy is a subjective experience and one that differs for everyone.

The brave decision to consider therapy is not always an easy one. At Northern Elm Assessment and Treatment, we are committed to meeting you where you are in your treatment journey (no matter where that is), to work alongside you in order to support your goals, and to support you in tapping into and discovering your inner strengths.

Prior to your initial therapy appointment, you can schedule a 15-minute consultation to meet your potential therapist. The consultation will allow you and your therapist to get to know each other and determine the possibility of continuing into therapy, as the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of effective treatment. Following this, you will be sent our consent and intake forms to complete prior to your first session.

Currently, services are being offered virtually, either by phone or video.
