1. Getting to Know Each Other

  • 15-minute consultation, at no cost to you

  • Learn more about your hopes for treatment

  • Determine if we’re a “fit” for each other

  • How to set up your online client portal (which is used to securely store your notes, process payment, and allow you to be in control of your own bookings!) 

  • Prior to your first session, you will also be sent a copy of our consent and intake forms

  • Explore your strengths and needs 

  • Review our consent policy, including limits of confidentiality

  • Review relevant information from your intake form

  • Begin to develop a treatment plan that can help you meet your identified goals

​Throughout the therapeutic process, the goal is to explore unwanted thoughts, get to know your inner strengths and needs and progress through the therapeutic journey, in order to build a life where you can live as your authentic self

​As the therapeutic process progresses, you will likely notice a need to decrease in sessions. This is to be expected as you get closer to meeting your identified goals. Often folks start engaging in treatment on a weekly or bi-weekly basis; however, as progress is made, sessions may decrease to monthly and even occasional “check-in” sessions
